On this page is an archive of selected Works on Paper by Jessica Csanky, from 2019 until present.

Jessica's passion for working on paper developed during her first artist residency which took place at Budapest Art Factory, Hungary. Because Jessica was traveling light, she only had a small selection of art supplies. And so began her exploration of painting on paper versus canvas. The results were wonderful, and Jessica developed a newfound passion.

Following her summer abroad, Jessica returned to the final year of her MFA program and continued working on paper. Her MFA Thesis Exhibition presented this new style alongside pieces that had been created in Budapest.

These works embrace spontaneity and intuition as well as structure and attention to detail.

If you are browsing for artwork to collect, please click on the image description. Many of the works have been placed in collections, yet some are available for purchase as indicated.

Jessica continues to create works on paper and has recently launched a select group of Limited Edition Prints, based on three of her favorite paintings created in recent years.
