Jess Csanky is a visual artist based in Los Angeles.

Her paintings, works on paper, and installations record memories, sensations, and curiosities expressed as visual poems.

Jess renders lived experiences into abstractions using a variety of mediums and techniques.

Drawing inspiration from music, dance, travel, and a love of color, Jess creates dynamic and rhythmic abstractions that are intended to uplift, while exploring the complexity of the human condition.

Jess received her MFA from Claremont Graduate University, California, in May 2020. Upon graduating, she was the recipient of the Karl & Beverly Benjamin Fellowship.
