For this commission, the collector expressed interest in bright and vibrant colors. He had a specific wall in mind for this painting; after visiting the space, I presented several ideas inspired by a number of beautiful horizon lines, to which he had traveled. Ultimately, the painting was made to represent an abstracted ocean seascape with a brilliant sunset.

The painting was created on paper mounted to canvas, varnished with a UV protected coat. The edges were painted as a continuation of the painting's horizontal stripes.
